The thirteen-step curse

Walk with arrow keys or WASD, or tap the arrows. Each press takes one step. Reach the red flag to escape.

On step 13 you return to your active cyan checkpoint, but the room keeps your changes. A new cyan checkpoint becomes your home and refills your steps. Returning to the active checkpoint also refills them.

Push a crate once to move it one square; push again to follow it. Crates fill holes. Boulders roll until blocked. Keys open locks. Hit the green arrow of a block chain to clear it; gongs clear matching barriers. Pressure plates toggle matching gates.

Holes and spikes return you to the preceding square. Undo reverses one move; Restart restores the whole room. All eight original rooms are available. Your escaped-room journal stays on this device.
